Gibbs Car Lock-Out Service
Executive Summary
By way of random selection The Warthogs were put together in a group with a mission to solve a problem. Jared Kale, a member of The Warthogs, is the owner of Gibbs Car Lock-Out Service. Gibbs Car Lock-Out Service is a company whose objective is to assist members of the Athens community who lock their keys in their vehicles. Through numerous group meetings, The Warthogs concluded that there were a few key issues that could be addressed with Gibbs Car Lock-Out Service's current operation procedures. One of the major problems with the company was that Jared was the sole employee, and also a full time college student. The problem came with the fact that Jared was simply missing a substantial amount of calls a week because he had to attend class. The Warthogs considered this problem and advised that the company should hire a second employee who could take the calls when Jared was unavailable. A second problem The Warthogs found with Gibbs Car Lock-Out Service's current operations was a lack of efficient and effective advertising. The company was currently running a yellow pages ad. This ad was responsible for the whereabouts of the majority of the incoming calls. The Warthogs suggested making a flyer, and dispersing it throughout the community. By putting the flyer in such places as parking lots and shopping malls, Gibbs Car Lock-Out Service found that there existed a large increase in the number of customers calls. Each member of The Warthogs played a key role addressing and improving the operations of Gibbs Car Lock-Out Service. Research and analysis was done by Brooke Bazemore, Matt Davis, Jared Kale, Jamie Kirk, and Eric Raef Ritter. Jeff Daniels is responsible for the composition of the Web page.
